GOOD  GOODGOING CLASSIC DAISY is an exciting young female that was selected from our highly successful cross of Trooper and Gem.  At a young age Daisy began showing her talent as a bird dog.  She started early and has been a fun dog to work with.  Her sweet disposition also makes her a great companion.

Her strong and confident personality, make her a joy to train.  She is an ambitious hunter, with a great talent for finding and pointing game.  She is also a great asset when it comes to locating and retrieving downed game.

Daisy is a favorite of Jerry McAllister.  Jerry contributes articles to goodgoing.com and is an avid hunter.  He also helps in the training and hunting of our setters.  Jerry began helping with Daisy’s training when she was a year old.  He has since enjoyed many hunts with her in northern Wisconsin and South Dakota .       

TROOPER has it all.  He combines great personality, desire to hunt and intensity on point, with a tremendous natural retrieve.  He is also passing these traits on to his pups.  His first litters look very nice.

GEM is a driven hunter with great natural ability.  She has good size and style.  She has produced several very nice litters.  Gem’s mother, BESS, is a descendent of our original Ryman lines, going back to Ames and Judy.

AMES was a true star in our Classic Setter program.  He produced over 20 litters, with outstanding results.  His pups have developed early and have turned into exceptional bird dogs.  JUDY’S breeding is 100% Ryman.  She made many great contributions and can be found in all of our Classic pedigrees.  PUSKER was an excellent gun dog and made a great cross with our original Ryman breeding.  His pedigree is made up of a great percentage of Ryman setters. 

JANE combines the best of our Ryman line, through Judy and the best of our Shooting Dog line, through Brannigan.  She is the offspring of the type of breeding that has been the cornerstone of our Classic line for many years.  These breedings combine the slower hunting style and larger size of the Rymans, with the trainability and intensity of the Shooting Dogs.
