AMY has picked up great qualities from her breeding. She is a very natural bird dog. Easily developing into pointing and retrieving. She has a great desire to hunt, yet is sensible and easy to handle. Her personality makes her a true joy to be around. She is also of good size and build, yet she is athletic and stylish, making her a fun dog to watch.
Amy is from our very successful outcross to GOODGOING BRANNIGAN. BRANNIGAN has been a tremendous addition to our Classic line. Amy is from the second breeding of Abra and Brannigan. The first breeding produced GOODGOING CLASSIC KATE, another very nice female.
4xCH BRANNIGAN, one of the most notable of all the Smith Champions, was a great winner and produced many great champions, including CH Barnum (1984 TSDA Wr.), CH Grandeur (1990 TSDA Wr.), CH Flair, CH Master Craftsman, and CH Tradition.
ABRA and ABBIE have been a strong producing female line. They have been strong natural bird dogs that have developed early. They have also been some of our top producers and we look for Amy to follow in they footsteps.
CLASSIC AUTUMN ASPEN is bred in Ryman and Old Hemlock lines and has earned a reputation as a great sire.
